DFL Will Be at The Cockburn FUR RUN!

Come and meet some of our dogs looking for their forever home (a schedule of dogs attending will be published closer to the date) or just come on down and have a chat to get more information on fostering or adopting through DFL!

The Fur Run is the best event for your pooch, with free vet checks, doggo markets, washes, demonstrations, onsite dog registrations and agility courses.

This pawsome day out has plenty of activities for your four-legged friends including the ‘fur run’, a 1km walk, run, or roll around MacFaull Park and the annual pooch parade. There is also loads of fun activities for the kids including, face painting, bouncy castles, and a special guest appearance from Chase from Paw Patrol. Kids can even make a chew toy for puppers.

Grab a coffee or a bite to eat from one of the food vans and browse through a range of dog-themed vendors selling everything from gourmet treats to the latest doggy fashion trends.

Whether you're a proud pup parent or just love spending time with adorable canines, this event is perfect for all dog lovers.

So grab your furry friend, and head on down to MacFaull Park Sunday 15 October from 10am to 1pm… There will be plenty of wet noses to snuggle.
